Hi

WanaCrypt0r or WanaCry or WanaDecrypt0r is in the headlines. Those not following news, it is a ransomware which is currently affecting thousands of organizations in 100+ countries, it has affected some Nepali organizations as well.

To protect yourselves,
* Apply security update to Windows
* Update your antivirus

If a machine is already infected, disconnect it from the network to stop spreading to other computers.

So far, there's no private key available for any tool to attempt to decrypt those infected systems.

There's a good news though, someone found and activated the kill-switch and the spread should slow if not stop completely
